When Values Align, Doors Open

I used to think that a well thought out plan and some good old fashioned hard work would produce the outcomes I desired, most of the time.

But after really analyzing my ventures over the years, I see that there was one more factor present for each win, value alignment with at least one other person. When I say values, I am referring to what you believe in and things that are most important to you.

The fact that two people enjoy making and or listening to music just isn’t enough to get you through the highs and lows of your professional or personal life.

One of my favourite books I’ve read that speaks on this is, “Good To Great” by Jim Collins. On this journey you’ll need some deeper connections to go the distance with teammates and partners on the road to greatness.
