What inspires your music?

We are inspired by everything and anything. The internet age means, we are constantly getting hit by new sounds and visuals, so inspiration comes all the time in different forms. There is always something new and cool to listen to on Spotify. It's a really exciting time for songwriters and creators.

Obviously apart from that, everything from society to our personal lives, play a role in how we write stuff 

How did you start your recording career?

Well the band formed around 4 years ago and we started recording pretty much straight away. We started off, recording stuff in a garden shed haha…that was an ‘experience.’

We’ve really grown to love our time in the studio. It’s an extremely satisfying feeling when a song comes together. 

How did you come up with your single?

All the songs kind of came from the same place. Every track on the EP is about raw emotion and how we deal with all that complicated stuff, society throws our way. The writing process is always messy, good songs always seem to come out of nowhere. The Innocent for example, evolved out of some random jam session. We try not to think about things too much, we always want it to feel authentic.   

What is your genre of music?

We have no idea haha. i guess, technically, it’s kind of a blend of alternative rock and indie (whatever that means). We never really think about genre or style when creating music. We kind of just see where things take us. Musically, we’re kind of all over the place

Who are your influences? 

It depends on who you ask in the band. We are into different things but we do overlap sometimes. In general terms, bands like Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Beatles, The Foo Fighters, The Who, Radiohead, U2, The 1975 have all played a part in the shaping of our sound. We love our ‘bands’ haha

How do you define success?

For us, it’s always been about people connecting with our music. Whenever we meet someone or speak to someone who has felt something with one of our songs, we feel a sense of ‘completion and purpose .’It has always been about reaching people, and that will never change. 

What can we expect from you in 2020?

Just a long string of new music. We want to get as much out as possible before the world ends. x
