What inspires your music?

I am inspired by life, my friends, family and all forms of art. I am a highly imaginative and creative person. I will often hear a melody in my head or even from a dream and I will sing it and record it on my phone as a voice memo and then later sit at the piano and write a song from that initial melody. 

How did you start your recording career?

Music has always been my passion and singing has always brought me great happiness. I began singing at a very early age and started taking singing lessons to further develop my vocal technique. I participated in a number of local competitions, talent shows, and festivals. I began writing my own material in my early teens and recorded my first album, "Blissful Sounds" back in 2010. There is nothing more fulfilling and cathartic than expressing myself through melody and lyrics. I live to sing and to create melodic art that touches and brings joy to others.

What is your (EP/Single) called? How did you come up with it? 

My latest single is called "Do You Feel The Same". I was inspired by a track that my co-writer, Katlego sent me. The song has a fun, upbeat vibe. It is a love song about someone you just can't figure out. You can't stop thinking about them and you are wondering if they are feeling you on the same level. 

What is your genre of music?

I am a mix of R&B / Pop and a little funk. 

Who are your influences? 

Prince, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston.

How do you define success?

True success to me is about following your dreams and heart to the ends of the earth and staying authentic to who you are. Above all, portraying an honest message and image of who I am through my art is what I deem most important. I care about being a strong, unique individual and a positive role model. 

What can we expect from you in 2020? 

I am constantly working on various projects. Expect new music very soon.
